The Fortress of Destruction

-Prologue-   
In the Kakariko Village, the sun was just rising. Smoke was beginning to seep out of the chimneys of the houses, and the watchman at the gate to Death Mountain was rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Soon the sun shone bright and golden over the town, and people were going about their daily business.   
One person, however, was still asleep. He was on the stairs to the archery contest hall, and his quiet breaths disturbed no one. Well, I just found of of my best frineds here, after losing contact with her for years. What followed could only be called a reunion, albeit one with much cursing and suggestions on how to do better. Anyway, for those of you wondering who she is, it would be Slingshot2000. On a side note, I would like to apologize for a lack of updates. This was largely due to the increasing demands of school, and I will update more during my winter break, which is coming up next week. I just reuploaded a piece of art that deviant deleted. (They thought it was copyrighted by Nintendo, despite the fact that I made it myself. The character may be, but the artwork is not) Anyway, I'll probably ad the next chapter to The Fortress of Destruction later today.
